I had glanced at it online and was curious.
When I finally picked up a bottle, I saw the words "Haneda Shuzo" on the label of Kitayama, Kyoto.
Haneda Shuzo had a brewery visit a few years ago, and there was a time when I was addicted to a sake I picked up at a store sale that read "Rikuyu" written as Rokuyu 🍶.
According to the brewer, this sake is served on the riverbeds in Kyoto in the summer.
It was mellow and delicious, and I looked forward to it every year around the end of the rainy season.
I realized that the annual in-store sales had disappeared and I had forgotten about it, but I was reunited with it.
The aroma is reminiscent of rum. It also has a slight melon-like flavor. The sweetness is felt only at the moment it enters the mouth, but it flows with a strong alcohol taste. 17.5 degrees Celsius.
The taste is reminiscent of Rokuyu. Compared to Rokuyu, it is fresher and rougher. I was struck by the nostalgic and memorable taste ✨.
