I guess not many people here have ever tasted that US brew sake. It makes use of US Sake Rice Sequoia Rice and made locally in San Francisco.
It is surprisingly good - with catchy milk, yogurt and fresh cheese on nose, and a hint of banana and melon coming after that.
On taste it‘s clean but complex, fruity taste same as nose, also can feel the sweetness coming from rice. The after taste is longer than expected, with slight bitterness remind me of coffee & roasted nut. Beyond my expectation.
