Suga sake
Junmai Daiginjo from Tobiume yeast
Dazaifu Tenmangu souvenir from my son
He said the sake was made from the yeast of the plum blossoms of Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine.
I thought I heard a bell when I opened the box, and found an ema (votive picture tablet) hanging on the bottle.
I worshiped it in the hope of receiving a blessing before eating it.
It tastes slightly of plums.
It is not like umeboshi (pickled plums), but rather a sweet plum flavor, like plum-flavored candy.
The aromatic sweetness and fragrance of plums spreading in the mouth and the spiciness at the end are good.
