First time seeing Mikatteyo!
I bought a bottle at a liquor store I know well, along with a bottle of Nishi-no-Seki, and they told me that it was a very austere place! But no, it was just an exploration.
The aroma of the upper part of the bottle has a strong sake flavor.
When you drink it, the strong umami and koji aroma hits you straight away! The aftertaste also has a koji aroma and a slight twinge. The closing is a gentle acidity and bitterness, but this is a bottle that requires the right kind of drinker.
I can drink it with no problem at all.
