Flavor like mirin (sweet sake).
It is sweet and thick, but the aroma is not strong, so it has more body with a caramelized flavor like candy candy canes than fruity.
It has a slight yellowish taste, probably due to the Maillard reaction since it was drunk two years after purchase.
It was served with Kabako crab and ascended to heaven.
