Three bottles of sake with the name "ume" followed.
I received this as a gift from a colleague who went to Niigata.
It comes in a shiny gold box✨.
My colleague, who is not familiar with Japanese sake, chose the following criteria
1. limited edition
2. if it's Junmai Daiginjo, it must be good
Nagoya people like gilded boxes.
Aroma of apple and pear. Sweet and sour - the acidity is apple-like with a bitter aftertaste.
Later on, the sweetness increased and became pear-like and mellow. The bitterness disappeared.
It was a sweet-umami type of wine, not the light and dry type.
