I bought it at my usual liquor store.
I heard it was adult Calpis as previous information, but how does it taste...
The aroma is reminiscent of yogurt, which has not yet expired but has been opened a long time ago. When you drink it, it feels like yogurt liqueur mixed with whey, which is sweet and sour. It's like old-fashioned Calpis, and something white comes out of your mouth after drinking it.
It makes sense that they recommend rock. It's more like a distant, distant relative of Calpis, yogurt drinks and lassies than sake.
At any rate, it's delicious and I'll be buying it again, ministry-wise, even though it doesn't feel like sake.
