- morkzgThis smells almost like a white wine. There's white grape, unripe pear, and almost something like cedar? Like a taru sake. It reminds me of champagne on the nose. Maybe a hint of nuts. Palate is a good balance of bold, tangy acidity and deep umami. It does not feel heavy though, and the acid and umami help to keep this quite dry and refreshing (served chilled). Apple, caramel, chestnuts, and perhaps something like cinnamon. Finish is dry, but lingers with umami and nutty notes. 4.25/5
