I had never heard of this sake, but I bought it at my usual liquor store because they had a sake I had never seen before.
After I bought it, I realized that it was an Oita sake.
I have an image that Kyushu sake is strong and thick, and I don't really like to drink it, so I opened the bottle without much expectation.
It smelled like Shaoxing sake, so I thought I had made a mistake, but then I drank it.
It was different from the image of the aroma, and I was betrayed in a good way.
It is indeed thick, but it is more on the light side. It has a firm core and a milky flavor.
There is a slight alcohol taste, but it is acceptable.
It is not my favorite type of sake, but it is delicious.
