日本盛Hanayaka Honjozo
Tiago P
It has been getting colder recently, and it is now a pleasant season to drink slowly in a warm room at night.
Today, I tasted Hana Yaka (Honjozo). It has an honest aroma of cooked rice with a slight floral nuance. In the mouth, it has a slightly alcoholic taste, but the gentle umami and fruitiness of grapes and melon spread out. The aftertaste is short. It was an unpretentious, simple drink.
(I am currently enjoying a leisurely autumn evening while rewatching a foreign TV drama.)
It's getting colder these days, perfect for a quiet drink at home.
Tried the Hanayaka Honjozo: clean cooked-rice aroma, a hint of florals, a touch of alcohol on the palate. Soft umami with small notes of grape and melon. Short finish - simple, honest sake.
