The label description says it smells of lychee and muscat. I didn't think it was possible, but when I actually put it in my mouth, it's like I was smitten by a lychee. While the aroma of lychee and muscat, it has an exquisite sweetness that is not disgusting - like a grapefruit! It is crisp and sour. However, we shouldn't forget that even if you discount the aroma, it's definitely a great sake. The sweetness and sourness of the sake is pure, and even the slight bitterness gives it a juicy taste, which is like a blueprint for the sake. Perfect sake. It would go better with an acidic Italian atmosphere, such as caprese and marinades, than with Japanese seafood.
