This is Kurowashi from Shirowashi. While the Shirowashi was a thick white orikara, this one is a clear unfiltered raw sake with a lot of gusto. The mouthfeel is clear, but the lingering aftertaste is long and mellow, and the clearness is accentuated by the strength of the aroma through the nose. It is interesting that the goal of the sake is so different even though it is from the same tank. It is delicious.
