Today's sake is the sake I bought on my honeymoon in Nagasaki Prefecture, from a brewery called Yoshida-ya Yes, sir!
This sake is made using the traditional technique of shibori, a technique made possible because of its small production quantity 👏.
We did a tour of the brewery, and not only are the methods used here unusual, but the yeast they use is interesting!
It's made with the yeast of a flower called vine rose, but it's also made with a lot of other flower yeasts There was a lot of booze in there!
This is a great brewery that partners with universities to create new drinks all the time 🙌
By the way, it tastes crisp and sour, and is extremely clear! It tastes like something between Japanese sake and wine.💞The best.
