Chokki
Umegae Ginjo
60%, 15%, 720ml, 1,430 yen
Three bottles of Umegae for a donation of 10,000 yen! The two bottles of Junmai and Junmai Ginjo have already been recorded before.
The first sip of the bottle.
It has a slight ginjo flavor. As with the previous two bottles, the mouthfeel is gentle and the taste of rice is present. The sweetness is not too strong and does not interfere with the food. The tangy taste that clings to the tongue is an accent from the alcoholic beverage. The dry sake becomes more dry.
If you look at the Umegae Brewery's lineup, you will see that they basically make dry sake. I've been looking for a sake that tastes good with food for years now, and this one is pretty much on the ideal track.
To be honest, it has a rather plain taste, but for those of us who like to stay away from the latest fads, it's a great taste. The label is also plain, but has a certain tenderness to it.
