This sake is sold exclusively at Suehiro Sake Brewery in Aizu, Fukushima Prefecture. A sake shop in my neighborhood is a contract sake store, so they sell this sake only during this season.
I drank it for the first time last year and it is really delicious sake. The aroma, sweetness, acidity, and lingering aftertaste are all well balanced, making it one of my personal favorites. It is one of my top favorite sake, and because of its lack of peculiarities, for some reason I can't stop drinking it.
The name "Tsubouchu Haru" means "spring in a pot, another world away from the mundane world," and it definitely puts you in a good mood and makes you forget about the mundane world.
