＜Juicy, slightly sweet lemon.
This is a summer sake newly released this year by our favorite Omine, with low alcohol content of 12.5%.
The illustration on the bottle is by Misaki Tanaka, the same illustrator who did the illustration for Yuki-Onna, Omine's winter nigori sake. The eroticism in the slightly retro touch is nice.
The aroma is very slightly lemon and rice flavor. It is so mild that you would not notice it if you are not careful.
When you put it in your mouth, you will feel the juicy acidity with a hint of sweet lemon. It is lemon, but it is gentle and not harsh. From there, the natural sweetness comes through. In the latter half, it gradually fades away and before you know it, it's gone. Despite the sweet and sour taste, it is very light and refreshing.
If I were to compare it to Ponyo from "Ponyo on the Cliff" in Ghibli, it would be Ponyo. I thought of it because of the mermaid association, and the taste matches the mermaid. It conveys a straightforward feeling of love that has nothing to do with adult ties or calculations.
