Hiryu Noriun Junmai Daiginjo
A bottle given to me by a classmate and a junior colleague as a gift for my new job*.
I've been at my current job for a year now, and I'm thankful that things are going well*.
It came in a wooden box and was kept in the coffin with the purple cloth that came with it.
Aged one year
The color is very pale. It is very light in color, maybe a little tinted.
It has gold leaf in it and it is dancing in the glass.
The aroma has a very light melon and alcohol taste.
It is dry and the aroma is light with a strong sense of freshness. The aftertaste is also short and good as a wash*.
I thought it would go well with sashimi, so I prepared flatfish and squid to pair with it. I thought it would be good with sashimi, so I prepared some flounder and squid to go with it. It was a good wash, but I got the impression that it would also go well with the flavor of the fish.
In case you're wondering, there is an LED light attached to the bottle, and the bottom of the bottle is shaped like Mt.
