2022-13 A Matter of Time?
It is nice to meet you, Isohajime, which is highly praised for its excellent sake. It is not so easy to find it in Kyushu area, but I bought it at Hasegawa Sake Shop in Tokyo Station when I was on a business trip to Tokyo.
It is a dry and delicious sake that retains its sweetness when served cold, even though it is a honjozo. This is the melon aroma of Shizuoka sake, or the bitterness takes over at the end.
Day 3: Still spicy and tasty, but the spiciness is a bit harsh...or maybe that's just because it's a honjozo.
On the 7th day, it is still summery, but the umami is more pronounced when slightly heated. It is a sake that I would like to drink in winter.
First day: ★★★★
3rd day ★★★☆☆☆☆☆
Day 7 ★★★☆☆☆☆
Overall 3.2, 3.8 if heated
