After an almost 20 year hiatus, we finally got to try some sake from Otokoyama Sake Brewery (Aizu Misato-machi) 🙌!
🌾The rice is 100% Aizu Yume no Ka (Dreamy Scent)
My first impression was that it wasn't too flashy, and it didn't have the roughness that you get with unpasteurized sake, but it had a beautiful quality that seemed to permeate the body.
The gentle sweetness, acidity and slight bitterness make it very easy to drink, even for first time sake drinkers👍.

It is not an ordinary thing to revive a sake brewery no matter how many relatives are doing it. I was very surprised when it won a prize at the National New Sake Competition this year. I'd like to visit Aizu again.
