Purchased at a sake brewery
We had a hard time deciding which rice to use, Yamadanishiki or Ginfukiyuki from Shiga Prefecture.
It is sweet, a little thick and tangy.
The taste is mellow, which I have never tasted before, and it has a long aftertaste.
It is a very good sake!
A small but well-established sake brewery located in Kusatsu-juku on the old Tokaido Highway.
Everything is done by hand and only a few bottles are shipped.
The owner is a very nice man who talks a lot and taught us a lot of things!
