Ine to Agave稲とブドウ 甲州 01
ariccy
Craft saké made by adding grape juice to the unrefined spirit and fermenting it.
The grape variety is Koshu, a representative Japanese wine.
The aroma is very fruity, as it should be.
In addition to Muscat grapes, I also detect apple, and a hint of citrus and lemon.
There is also a floral aroma, which is indeed a grape, or perhaps it is a cheat.
The taste is quite wine-like with tannin astringency.
The acidity is still close to that of sake, but the acidity component is probably different, so I personally think the acidity is closer to that of white wine.
It's quite sweet, but the acidity is well balanced, so it's very easy to drink.
At 14% alcohol, it's considered one of the stronger wines, but you don't feel the alcohol at all.
It's really delicious!
No, it's delicious, but I feel like I was shown the greatness of grapes as an ingredient rather than the possibilities of rice wine.
It's hard to choose between the two in terms of taste, but I'd have to go with the rice and hops one.
