ちーすけ
This is a doburoku, a specialty of Yokoze Town, purchased at Ashigakubo Roadside Station in the Chichibu area.
The purpose was to let my daughter play in the river, but there were also a lot of souvenirs, so I consulted with my wife and bought one.
The special feature of this sake is its freshness. It is sold frozen, and when it is thawed, it ferments in the bottle, which is why the bottle has a hole in the stopper. (I forgot to take a picture...).
I left it thawed when I got home and opened the bottle on the same day.
The inside of the bottle was sludgy and had a strong tangy acidity. Despite its appearance, it has a relatively dry and dry taste with little sweetness. However, it has the umami and richness of rice in a refreshing taste, making it a delicious doburoku that can be drunk as a mealtime drink 😊.
