I got it on a trip to Okinawa last year! I had bought "Yatsuka" before, but I had never had nigori type before, so I brought it back from Okinawa and saved it 👍. When I opened the bottle and poured it, the aroma was of cemedine and alcohol. The mouthfeel is moist and the syrupy, dark sweetness is blindingly sweet. It tastes similar to medicine syrup or shaved ice syrup. However, it is not sticky, and the sharpness of the brewer's alcohol rounds it out nicely. When stirred, the sweetness and cemedine taste is subdued and a bit silky. Instead, the crispness of the spicy acidity increases its presence. It's a sweet-sour crisp taste in the Yogurina or Pilkulu family ✨. Traveled to Okinawa almost exactly one year ago. Time flies. 🏝️
