This sake came in second place among the 423 cups drunk last year in 2021. It is a spring limited edition sake from Kudoki-Ue. It was very delicious.
The aroma is sweet alpine. Rice, melon sweetness, and ecstatic alcohol. There is a clear alcohol taste, but it is not unpleasant at all. It is a happy aroma.
When you put it in your mouth, it is sweet and juicy. It has a rich sweetness like melon rice syrup, and the acidity, umami, and bitterness in the back gives it depth. From there, the umami bitterness gradually swells, and the sweet alkali aroma is a delight.

It is so delicious!
However, it is regrettable that it does not reach last year's impression. Well, it was a bit hard on the first day last year, too, and it was only a week after opening the bottle that I was impressed.
If I were to use a Ghibli analogy, it would be like the girl in "The Wind Rises" who Jiro, the main character, tries to "give" Siberia, a sweet, but she doesn't accept it. She is cute and has the potential to become a beautiful woman in the future. But her expression is still very stiff.
