Junmai Ginjo sake with a 55% rice polishing ratio
Butterfly Purple is a sake made from Kame no O, which has the longest rice in Japan and is said to be the most difficult to cultivate. It is said that Kame-no-o tends to have an unpleasant taste.
When poured into a glass, it has a sharp ginjo aroma that hits the nose. The first impression is a dry and crisp taste.
However, as it gets closer to room temperature, it smells and tastes fruity and delicious, with a crisp aftertaste that is typical of Yamamoto!
This is delicious!
