Maybe it's the pure rice, but it has a slight aroma of soft rice cake, and then melon. Orthodox, I like it.
When I rented it to warm up, I felt a strong melon aroma at first, but it soon became more round.
Today, it happened to be chige nabe, but it would go well with salted nabe, which has a lighter taste. Of course, it would be excellent with sashimi, sushi and simmered dishes...
