The sake I was served when I went back to Shiga was a very rare and expensive one!
It's called Hyakusaiji Taru, a sake from Hyakusaiji Temple, which has been revived after 444 years. It even seems to be filled with the romance of the Warring States period. It was so delicious that I drank too much. It was just so easy to drink.
