I was told that this sake is meant to be heated, so I decided to try it both cold and warm.
The cold sake feels a little tense on the tongue, with a sweetness from the rice, but not too sweet, and a hint of bitterness at the end.
When it's warmed up, it has a mild texture and the sweetness and aroma of the rice spread out, with a bit of sourness at the end.
If you warm it up, the sweetness is not as strong. Personally, I enjoyed it lukewarm or on the skin.
I paired it with rube and cream cheese and scallop sashimi, but I thought the saltiness of the rube went better with it.
