Obtained on a trip to Hokuriku before the summer!
I've been trying to figure out when to drink it, but I got some inada sashimi to enjoy as an accompaniment👍.
When opened and poured, the aroma is full and round, like molasses or grain.
The mouthfeel is glossy and refreshing. The clear aroma of "Gohyakumangoku" spreads through the nose, with a slight banana taste.
There is a stimulation of sourness and astringency that slowly comes to the tongue. It has a wide range of umami taste with a spiciness. It is a well-balanced taste that can be enjoyed by tuning in and resetting during the meal ✨.
This is a locally brewed sake from Himi, where yellowtail is a specialty!
As expected, it goes perfectly with inada sashimi 😋.
