The sake to be paired with today's tai-meshi from Uwajima, which is also originally from Nanyo, is probably Uwajima sake, but I was lured by the menu's naming, and since it is also from Nanyo, I thought it would be okay. I ordered it because it's also from Nanyo. It is a sake from Uchiko Town, Kita County. As the description says, it has a crisp and clear taste. It is fruity from the first taste and is a Junmai Daiginjo. Although it is said to be super dry, I did not feel it was that dry, which was a nice complement to the local cuisine of Uwajima.
