Today I'm drinking sake from Tohoku. Last year I bought a 4-pack and it was so good that I bought another 1-pack, and this year I bought another limited edition bottle.
I saw a food writer I trust buy a bottle of Josui and drink it at home, so I figured it must be good sake. When I looked for it, I was glad to find a shop that carries it in my neighborhood.
It has a sweetness and density like white sugar, with very little sourness or bitterness. There is not much change in the taste even after a day. After drinking so many different kinds of sake, I wanted a little complexity in the taste. This is delicious though.
