Specially cultivated rice, Tsuya-hime, grown in Yae Manchio, Hamada City, Shimane Prefecture, under strict conditions by reducing the amount of pesticides and using no chemical fertilizers, and by using prescribed cultivation methods and chemicals.
The aroma is like grapefruit, with the sweetness of the rice giving way to a gasiness when you drink it. Is it dry when you drink it? Does it go well with salty rice because it leaves a spicy taste afterwards?
