It was purchased at a sake brewery in Gyoda City, Saitama Prefecture, a town of ancient tombs, tabi socks, and jumangoku manju. Citizen M felt some sympathy for this brewery because it is located in the castle town of Oshijo.
The proprietress is very amiable. She told us that the sake needed to be refrigerated, but since it was winter, it was safe to leave it outside, so she was working hard to keep the store without heating.
