<It's smooth, full of flavor, and retro.
This is the seventh bottle in the "Kuraberu" series, a special honjozo brewed by Chiyogiku Co.
The aroma is of honey, grain sweetness and deliciousness. I have a feeling this is retro.
The mouthfeel is surprisingly smooth. It goes in easily with light lactic acid.
But from the latter half, the retro grain sweetness and deliciousness spreads rapidly, and from the middle, the bitterness and gloomy taste join in and overrun the mouth. The sensation of drinking it down is very smooth and there is no sting at all, but the aftertaste lingers in the mouth for a long time.
This is a food sake. It seems to be a good match for simmered Japanese dishes. But unfortunately, we had curry for dinner this evening. It is indeed difficult to match.
If you compare it to Ghibli, it's like Taeko's father in "Omohide Pororo Pororo". He is a strict father from the Showa era and seems to be inflexible. He looks like a man who likes to drink at night, not a man who likes Western food.
Satisfaction level: ★★★☆☆
I couldn't make it this time, but it seems to have enough potential to become even more delicious if you choose the right dishes.
I'll post the full version on the blog, complete with character images. If you'd like to check it out, search for "Korune Sake" or click on the link in the profile section.
