Having acquired a set of prepared dishes from my favorite roadside station, I knew I had to pair this with sake, so I opted for a bottle of Fukayamagiku Daiginjo, a sake from a sake brewery that had a store in a department store.
It is clearly dry. It is very refreshing, but leaves a slight sweetness on the palate. The aroma seems a little weak for a daiginjo, but this may not interfere with the food.
It goes well with sashimi.
Or rather, it doesn't interfere with it?
I think it goes well with soy sauce.
It goes well with Japanese side dishes in general. It's more like a sake that doesn't get in the way.
It doesn't have any peculiarities or characteristics, so it is suitable for a side dish and a good pairing.
I don't think it is good with Kintoki Miso Cucumber.

I liked the side dishes too much this time, so I may have a bias in my evaluation of sake.
