Sake from Tsu City, Mie Prefecture.
Unfortunately, it seems to be a brewery that no longer exists.
I bought this at a sake discount store in Ono City, Hyogo Prefecture, about six months ago, at a very low price.
Incidentally, half of my blood is from Mie Prefecture (my mother is from Mie Prefecture).
I don't really care.
It has a strong hinensei aroma and a sweetness that is swollen. There is a hint of spiciness.
The sweetness of the sake is soothing.
How does it taste when warmed?
The first attack is astringency. It's quite a deep astringency.
It brings out the pungency rather than the sweetness. The pungency that comes with the bite is good.
After the initial attack, the taste changes and becomes lighter, but I never get tired of drinking it.
---I wonder if it is still available at the discount store in Ono.
I wonder if it's still available at the discount store in Ono, and if they still sell it through regular channels.
But I wonder why the last sake from the brewery was sold at a half-decent price far away in Hyogo.
I wish all the people involved in the brewery good health and good luck in their next jobs.
I am grateful to the sake gods for bringing me across this sake at the last minute by chance.
