I bought this at Akita Station because I was attracted by the Akita-only version.
It was served at room temperature, but the mild acidity and youthful fullness were well balanced, and it gently assisted me as a food sake. It has a lingering finish with a nice sharpness. Sake cups are flowing.
The sake rice is Ichihozumi. The breweries in Akita Prefecture have been in need of a sake rice that can be differentiated from other regions, and this rice made its debut in 2020. The enthusiasm of the Akita breweries is great, but the development team that responds to their needs is also amazing. I am looking forward to seeing new sake rice one after another.
