When I asked for sake at a bar yesterday, the waiter said, "The price is 5 shaku. Five shaku," said the waiter. 5 shaku, if you convert it to a 4-ounce bottle...hmmm. I don't think about that when I order a highball or beer, but when it comes to sake, I end up converting the price and thinking, "I'd rather drink it at home..." I feel like a cheapskate, or something...
It's delicious.
