This is a warmed-up Junmai. I've never seen a sake that claims to be "warmed up" on the label (I just don't drink the kind. LOL)
It's hard to describe how well it tastes when you actually try it, but it's a strange sake that doesn't have the same impact (hot sake) that you feel when drinking hot sake as it is cold. The aroma that comes out of the nose is not overpowering.
You get the sense that it was made just to be enjoyed as a warmed-up drink.
It's not because it's a mountain waste sake, but because it's Junmai.
