The rugged red tag warning against opening the bottle is kind of cute. Of course, we will open the bottle with caution this time as well. ‼️
We welcomed a limited item from the HIZIRIZM series from a Gunma sake brewery.
We took out our holmgard champagne glasses and poured a generous amount. It is a light sake with a whopping 5% alcohol content. It is not cosy, but its sweet and sour apple-like taste makes it easy to recommend to those who are not accustomed to drinking sake.
The strong fizz and lactic acidity is just the way I like it 😆 A blissful moment in the late afternoon.
