The name "Senkosei" was first coined by Lord Niwa of the former Nihonmatsu Domain in Fukushima Prefecture, who named the sake after the "Sensei Hyotan" of the previous lord of the domain, Taikoh Hideyoshi. Later, the name "Senkosei" was changed to "Senkou Sei," meaning "a thousand merits" (deeds, deeds of merit, and achievements). ←(Quoted from the origin of "Senkosei" on the website. Hot sake, served hot with a lentil sauce. I can't write about the aroma, because I don't have enough knowledge and expression (but it smelled delicious).
