The sake served at a dinner at a hotel in Shizuoka had a flavor that was unlike any sake I have ever tasted from Shizuoka Prefecture, and it was a brand for general liquor stores. The sweetness went well with the dry mapo tofu. It is said that the brand name of this sake has been taken over by a discontinued brewery, but I could not find any information about this sake. This brewery's main product is Tenkoh. Local brands and brands for souvenir shops are often not even listed on the brewery's website. I think this is a waste of publicity for the brewery.
