During the holidays. We were drinking at my friend's house and I brought this sake with me.
When I drank Mimurosugi recently, I was shocked at how easy it was to drink, so I thought I'd give my friend a taste of it too. The one I drank this time was Dio Abita. It's a 13 degree unfiltered sake.
I was pretty drunk, but it comes in surprisingly smooth. Ginjo scent like rum. Softness in the mouth. Juicy like a pear. Beautiful acidity in the finish.
It was such a great drink that it made me think that there really is a God in it.
