ゆーまんThe rice used is Omachi, a representative sake brewing rice of Okayama.
Omachi is an excellent rice for sake brewing and was used as a crossbreed in many places, and was valued as the parent of superior varieties such as Yamadanishiki and Gohyakumangoku.
About 2/3 of all existing sake brewing rice varieties are descended from Omachi.
