boukenMy mom called me and said she couldn't explain the alcohol because I hadn't been there, so she called her son and asked him to come. The son handled it from here. I've been going there for years and this is the first time I've talked to him. Old pine tree in our neighborhood, Itami. Unlike Hakusetsu, which is also from Itami, it seems to be dry, but this one was quite sweet. The only description on the bottle is "Nama-nazake," but it says "unfiltered" on the side. It has a fizzy, bubbly, sweet and dry taste. I found some comments about it being dry when I searched for it, so either the BY makes a difference or my taste buds are buggy 🤔. I'm always curious to know if Old Pine brews its own sake, but this one was labeled as "Producer" on the label. If the label says so, it must be brewed by the company if the rules are followed. This place uses different labels for different products, such as "processor" and "seller". I wonder if they are really brewing in that small building? I was talking about that😅.
