Purchased in a local market in San Francisco area. Regrets unfortunately. Harsh, unrefined and few subtle nuances and flavors found in poorer Japanese-made sakes I’ve tried. Maybe a different style and approach than I’m used to? Maybe it’s the California rice they use (they say they cannot obtain traditional rices used for sake in sufficient quantities). For the price ($20 USD) there are so many better sakes to enjoy.
