The second sake "rice , water 1" produced by NEW STANDARD A is a white malted rice sake.
The sake made with white malted rice is Shinmasa's Flax Cat, a sake brewery in Akita Prefecture. In fact, many members of NEW STANDARD A got hooked on sake from Shinmasa's sake.
The sake has a refreshing yet slightly effervescent taste, acidity, and a slight bitterness, but it is very easy to drink.
As the package says, it is a beautiful sake! It is 80% polished rice, but I didn't feel that at all!
