Unspecified純米大吟醸
ariccy
Junmai Daiginjo brewed with the father of Yamadanishiki, Short Stick Watabune (technically, a similar variety, Watabune No. 2).
The aroma is mild for a Nabeshima, with a fruity, apple-like flavor.
The taste is full yet clear with a sweet umami flavor.
A little fruity, but the rice flavor is also quite rich.
Overall, it's a little more modern, but it's really very drinkable.
Delicious!
A little out of character for Nabeshima, but a good sake that balances well while bringing out the characteristics of the rice used to make it.
