さなD
Purchased at Vinos Yamazaki, Shinagawa Station
It seems to be a limited edition sake here.
I was planning to drink it on the Shinkansen to Shin-Osaka, but the train was so crowded that I decided against it.
We had a drink at the hotel where we arrived late at night.
It felt very spicy, probably because I was tired from my rigorous schedule and also because I drank it with a strong spicy snack.
It is not a taste I dislike, but it was not what I wanted on that day.
As it settles down, it feels slightly fruity and tightens up. It also felt elegant, but I think it was too pungent by the end.
This sake is said to be in the "Shizuoka Ginjo" tradition. I would have liked to drink it when I was in decent physical condition.
