Koji 3 times brewed Junmai Genzake
Amber color? I thought it might be amber, but it is a clear, flaxen-colored sake, just like the brand name. It has a rich koji aroma similar to that of Shaoxing sake or hon mirin (Japanese sweet sake), and a thick, rich sweetness. For some reason, it reminded me of the sweet sherry I drank at a Spanish bar.
It is rich but does not have a persistent aftertaste, and I think it is easy to drink for an extremely sweet sake.
